Okay. It's been a year. It's easy to say I'm in the same place, publishing-wise as I was last year, but as I thought about all the things I've been doing in the writing community, and decided to write them all down (as well as life-accomplishments) I'm realizing that I'm not in the same place I was last year. I'm so much better than I was last year.

MORAL OF THE STORY
When you're down, and you're thinking back on the last year and feel like you're in the same spot you were in twelve months ago: trying writing everything out. Try looking at things a little more objectively.
Am I still working on the same book? Am I still agent-less? Yep. But the in-between is filled with so many little and big accomplishments and plans, that I can't help but be proud of where I'm at right now!
